Shown many fixes on https://git.ffmpeg.org/gitweb/ffmpeg.git/shortlog/refs/tags/n4.0.1 It is a simple bump from ffmpeg-4.0.ebuild and compiles and works But be aware this release not is shown on www.ffmpeg.org website yet.

But not Twitter nor http://www.ffmpeg.org Got this answer: --- Thanks for letting me know, but some time ago I decided to mention only the major releases and stopped tweeting about minor point releases. I was not responsive enough and sometimes missed them or was late mentioning them. Maybe I will re-consider this, but will ignore any updates to the older branches. We don't mention the point releases on http://ffmpeg.org new page either. ---
