On the 16th of March 2018, the Zathura PDF Poppler plugin (app-text/zathura-pdf-poppler) version 0.2.9 was released.

zathura-pdf-poppler-0.2.9.ebuild

Pretty straight forward ebuild working with version 0.4.1 of zathura and incompatible with 0.3.8.
Also zathura-pdf-poppler-0.2.8 should now only depend on =app-text/zathura-0.3.8.

Development version should also be updated to this ebuild, but was not tested by me.

Yep, zathura-0.4.1 does not work with zathura-pdf-poppler-0.2.8, which cannot be solved by a simple recompile.

With commit https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=fa51043624c359c7dc2cb3eaaedcb9e857a7b63e SRC_URI was changed to link to a gzip file which is not provided upstream. Please change back to xz.
