When you open gnome-theme-manager, it doesn't display thumbmail of themes. It works before with same version of Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.launch gnome-theme-manager 2. 3. when composite extension is removed, everything seem to be ok.
same thing with gnome-theme-manager 2.8.0 i also noticed that sometimes CPU usege comes up to 99% when running gnome-theme-manager.
yeah its broken with composite... we suggest you do not use composite at this point.
same problem here too, and additionaly the X crashes when xcompmgr is running and the xscreensaver starts. same with every 3d application, they all crash me back to a restarted gdm
