Description Gavrila 2004-09-29 04:38:06 UTC
After installing openoffice-ximian-bin, although USE="kde" is set, it doesnt create any entry in my menu (though /usr/share/applnk/Ximian-OpenOffice is installed. Nevertheless no MIME handling is updated, and no PATH=/opt/Ximian-OpenOffice/program is added to my environment (i tried with env-update and checked either /etc/profile either /etc/profile.env).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge openoffice-ximian-bin
2.
3.

Actual Results:
manual corrections needed to integrate the suit in the kde environment

Expected Results:
It should be done automatically

We get the ooo-ximian-bin tarball from upstream so not a lot we can do ybout missing menu entries. Also it does not need to add a PATH=/opt/Ximian-OpenOffice/program.
