I propose that Section 5.4 of the Foundation bylaws be amended such that the number of trustees on the board is raised from 5 to 7. Reason: I've noticed a lot of talk about the current board being overburdened with work, and I figured some more empty seats would help ease the workload. Just earlier I saw prom in irc talking about being overwhelmed.
I don't think this is needed, Just have another trustee pick up to CotB position. By default it falls to the President, but can be changed.

The foundation originally had 13: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Foundation:Articles_of_Incorporation#Article_VIII_-_Board_of_Trustees Then it was reduced to 7, then to 5. The reduction was justified as an observable lack of candidates running for seats in elections; thus the board voted to reduce the size of the board repeatedly. I tend to agree that more is better; but I'm not adequately convinced there is sufficient supply of candidates. -A
