crossdev was installed from the Portage ebuild. I ran crossdev with the following options: crossdev --arch=amd64 --vglibc=2.3.3.20040420-r1 --vgcc=3.3.4-r1 --vbinutils=2.14.90.0.8-r1 crossdev stops with the message: Failed Patch: 64_amd64_binutils-2.14.amd64-32bit-path-fix-after-relro.patch.bz2! * Include in your bugreport the contents of: * * --snip-- !!! ERROR: sys-devel/binutils-2.14.90.0.8-r1 failed. !!! Function epatch, Line 400, Exitcode 0 !!! Failed Patch: 64_amd64_binutils-2.14.amd64-32bit-path-fix-after-relro.patch.bz2! * doebuild(): Call to /usr/sbin/ebuild failed! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. crossdev --arch=amd64 --vglibc=2.3.3.20040420-r1 --vgcc=3.3.4-r1 --vbinutils=2.14.90.0.8-r1 Actual Results: crossdev stopped as outlined above. Expected Results: The software should have created an x86->amd64 compile toolchain.

<=crossdev-0.4 is no longer supported ... please upgrade to crossdev-0.9 and if you're still having problems, re-open the bug and re-assign to toolchain@gentoo.org
