I could not reproduce this error on another machine. My guess is, that configure didn't run well. Did you tried merging more than once? Could you re-test?
Yes, I've tried emerging more than once. After an emerge sync it worked like it should. Weird. Anyway thanks for the support.

Created attachment 45597 [details] Log of successful cdrdao-1.1.9 emerge Same problem here. Sync didn't fix it. Emerge --resume --skipfirst seemed to solve it. Looks like there was some kind of forward dependancy that wasn't accounted for. Success log attached.
