Description Bodo Graumann 2018-04-15 16:12:30 UTC
The page https://gentoo.org/support/news-items/ contains the list of gentoo repository news items. The items are ordered by the day of their publishing.
There is exactly one instance, where a date occurs multiple (here 2) times:

> 2009-04-06 Migration from teTeX to TeXLive
> 2009-04-06 Migration to X.org Server 1.5

Though from time to time, this will change to

> 2009-04-06 Migration to X.org Server 1.5
> 2009-04-06 Migration from teTeX to TeXLive

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Use a tool, which checks the website for changes.
Actual Results:
Every few days the order will change and the tool will announce a spurious change on the page.

Expected Results:
There is only a change, if a new news item is added.

Background: I mainly do this, because paludis does not understand the news items anymore and the page does not offer an RSS feed.
