Building dev-libs/efl-1.20.7 consistently fails. Looks like it's running a locally, newly built edje_cc but dynamically links it to the system installed libecore_con instead of the newly built version.
I have same issue.
I ran into the same problem. I was able to get around it by uninstalling the prior efl (I happened to have efl-1.17). I also had to manually clean up some left over library files (like libecore...) that for some reason were not removed when I cleaned out efl (not sure if that was a problem with my system, or something broke in the cleanup) Once I did that, I was able to emerge efl-1.20.7.
Thanks Cheyenne, Indeed, unmerging efl (1.18.4 in my case), deleting /usr/lib64/libector.so.1* and then emerge -1 efl merges successfully (and cleans up the remaining 1.18.4 libraries).
