In the Gentoo Upgrading Guide (http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-upgrading.xml#doc_chap3), the instructions say to link /etc/make.profile to ../usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/<arch>/2004.2 /etc/make.profile. However, this does not work properly with portage-2.0.50 (cf. bug 64887). The link should actually be to ../usr/portage/profiles/default-<arch>-2004.2. In particular, as detailed in bug 64887, this incorrect configuration causes modutils to install while running a 2.6 kernel with module-init-tools, resulting in a broken system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
I've added instructions that the "new" location (cascading one) is for Portage 2.0.51 and later.
