Description Andriy Utkin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2018-03-15 21:47:04 UTC
These packages have test suites which are run when FEATURES has "test".

I do not insist on runtime testing, but if you are eager to do it, here is a brief instruction on how to run integration test suites, which ensures the installed software actually works well with Amazon Web Services: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/User:Andrey.utkin/Botocore_boto3_testing

Thanks in advance.

P. S. This time I decided to not request stabilization on x86, because this is a cloud computing package (despite used also on desktops by e.g. awscli), which predominantly employs amd64. I guess x86 arch team has more important work to do. x86 users still can use ~x86 keyword and use latest and greatest stuff. I am not sure now whether this package qualifies for ALLARCHES stabilisation, so not requesting that, too. Please let me know if I'm wrong in any way.
