Description Pierre-Yves Paulus 2004-09-23 03:01:54 UTC
I'm installing gentoo-amd64 on a new Tyan K8S Pro (S2882). I'm using 2004.2 livecd, with stock smp kernel (2.6.7-gentoo-r11). I've SATA disk drives connected to the first 3 SATA channels, and they are all working. So the statement "Note: Only channels 1 and 2 work on the Silicon Image 3114. Channels 3 and 4 aren't working yet" does not look accurate any longer.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
