build_infos.tar.bz2

Every package which I emerge, which does want to create static libraries failes. I use binutils ar, nm and ranlib.

For example:
The command $(ar rcs libiberty.a argv.o) does not create libiberty.a neither any other static library.

Any clues, what the problem is?
