Description Hans 2004-09-22 14:38:00 UTC
I installed dosemu-1.2.2 yesterday on a system with slang-1.4.9. I have clipper applications that run in dosemu and have a menu that are navigated with the cursor keys. Everything went fine. Today I did an emerge -UD world which installed slang-1.4.9-r1. After this the cursor keys didn't work anymore in the clipper application, they do in mc. I tested this behavior on two machines. After removing version 1.4.9-r1 with emerge =slang-1.4.9 the menu works as before, on both machines.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. run my clipper applications in dosemu 1.2.2 and slang-1.4.9-r1
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The clipper applications don't react to the cursor keys (up/down/left/right)

Expected Results:
move in my menu

Seems to be a unicode-issue. Can you please test merging slang with USE="-unicode"?

Is this still an issue?
Can you try 1.3.2, it should have some slang-fixes?

No reply from the reporter, so closing this, please re-open if this is still an
issue with latest versions.
