Bug 64980 – New Gentoo Sources Mirror

I've setup a source mirror.
It's syncing against local mirror now.

It'll be full mirror.

ftp://xinicks.com/pub/linux/gentoo/

Park,

We do require our distfiles mirrors to mirror either (1) distfiles only, or (2) all the architectures, not just x86 in your case. I cannot add you into our main rotation until one of those conditions is met.

I'm syncing it from ibilio.org ,
and there is only 2004.2 x86 release.

where can I sync from?

I apologize, we've dropped suggesting ibiblio for this very same reason. You should now be syncing to ftp.ussg.iu.edu::gentoo-distfiles/ for mirrors waiting authorization into the mirror listing. Sorry about the confusion.

I just checked the mirror and it seems vastly incomplete. Make sure you are syncing form the ftp.ussg.iu.edu mirror i listed down below and i can add you into rotation. thanks!

I just saw message yesterday.
now syncing from ftp.ussg.iu.edu.

It takes so long time (there is many iso images).

It will be complete tommorow.

I just checked the timestamp this morning and it shows its a couple days old:
Thu, 04 Nov 2004 00:06:15 +0000

Make sure that's syncing every 4 hours from your local midnight and I can add you to the listing.

Closing due to inactivity, looks like gentoo isnt being mirrored.
