Hi, I try again with gcc6 (not yet 7) but I can't reproduce it. libcassandra is related with dev-db/cpp-driver that is a dependency of dev-php/pecl-cassandra. I need to see if this issue is related with some linking issue and in particular see output of file /var/tmp/portage/dev-php/pecl-cassandra-1.3.2/work/php5.6/config.log.
