I've got a similar Line and Exitcode error, however it happens with kspell2 so I don't know if it is relevant to this bug:

grep: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.2/libstdc++.la: No such file or directory
/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.2/libstdc++.la: No such file or directory

It appears to be because the build can not find /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.2/libstdc++.la . I am trying to update to kde-3.3.0 from kde-3.2.3. Here is my emerge info:

Comment 3 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-25 06:06:07 UTC
These are not kde problems - use /sbin/fix_libtool_files.sh to fix this problem.
Comment 4 Kovarththanan Rajaratnam 2004-09-26 10:04:52 UTC
Thanks Caleb. That seems to solve my problem.
Comment 5 lopio 2004-09-27 11:04:45 UTC
thank you Caleb for your solution
