Description svenmalag86 2018-02-22 18:16:00 UTC
When I tried to installed networkmanager it depends on openssl. I followed the "Project:LibreSSL-Site" (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:LibreSSL) but it doesn´t worked for me. So I made this Bugreport

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Followed the LibreSSL Project-Site with the USE=libressl flag
2. Followed the Networkmanager Gentoo Site (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/NetworkManager) tried to install
3. Then come the portage fail with it depends on openssl
Actual Results:
emerge say libressl blocks openssl and I need to uninstall libressl and use openssl instead

dev-libs/openssl:0 ("dev-libs/openssl:0" is blocking dev-libs/libressl-2.6.0)

Expected Results:
Installs and can used for wifi

My Laptop is an Thinkpad W530 with I7 3740QM and an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 Wifi-Card

I´m a newbie to Gentoo when it helps^^

NetworkManager depends on neither openssl nor libressl. This blocker message is triggered by some other combination of packages.
