I have a dual head setup with two seperate X-screens. I can run devhelp on display :0.0 and it works, but running it on display :0.1 gives me the error message (WebKitWebProcess:6061): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'WebKitWebProcess' received an X Window System error. whenever I select a help topic and noting is displayed in the right panel. At least one other program that uses webkit (evolution) doesn't show this behaviour. webkit-gtk version is 2.18.6. The bug also holds for 3.24.0 (which is in the main tree) and 3.18.1, which is in the funtoo overlay.
Is this still happening with webkit-gtk-2.20.5? These :0.1 displays are a bizarre concept to me and not really sure how to reproduce..
It still happens on webkit-gtk 2.20.4 (Will update later today) However, when I tried to reproduce it by creating an according dual-head configuration with Xephyr: Xephyr :1 -ac -screen 800x600 -screen 800x600 & DISPLAY=:1.1 devhelp then it works (although it hangs a bit at the beginning because there are no session manager and no accessibility bus).
Reopen if you can still reproduce this.
