AFAICS the problem is that povray-3.50c would indeed be newer than 3.6, except that there is no 3.50c. There's a 3.5, which apparently got mis-named at some point. In any case, the solution is probably to delete povray-3.50c entirely, especially since it's SRC_URI is now a broken link. It people want it, it should be resurrected as povray-3.5 with a fixed link. At least mask povray-3.50c so 3.6 can survive emerge -u world.
there shouldnt be a 3.50c anymore, i just moved the package and built a binary package, so the SRC_URI was valid this afternoon please sync and possilby clear out your overlay (even thoug i noticed the (0)) 3.5 was not misnamed, 3.50c was moved to 3.5 to make 3.6.1 indeed the newer package
