Description Daniel Gryniewicz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-20 13:16:26 UTC
If dmake has been emerged previously on the system, openoffice and openoffice-ximian use it instead of the version shipped with the package, and fail with cryptic errors such as "missing include system.mk". If Openoffice listed dmake as a blocker, then the user would get a warning that they should unmerge dmake, emerge openoffice, and remerge dmake.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge dmake
2.emerge openoffice (or openoffice-ximian)
3.

Actual Results:
The build died with a missing system.mk error

Expected Results:
complained that dmake was installed, or used the one in openoffice even though
it's installed

Actually OOo and openoffice-ximian DO block on dmake since quite some time, don't know why you are not getting this, still this bug is invalid
