after installing dev-perl/YAML-Tiny latenxindent works, ergo a RDEPEND to dev-perl/YAML-Tiny is missing in ebuild.

with stable texlive-core-2017 additionally a dependency to

Unicode::GCString Perl Module, not in tree yet, is missing when running latexindent
