Clicking the splash screen that appears when loading Abiword causes the application to crash. Clicking anywhere else within the application does not cause this problem, only the splash screen. The workaround is simple: DCtSS (Don't Click the Splash Screen Stupid) :D Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load Abiword-2.0.11 2. Click the splash screen 3. Actual Results: "The Application 'AbiWord' has quit unexpectedly." Expected Results: Loaded successfully. emerge info: Portage 2.0.50-r11 (gcc34-amd64-2004.1, gcc-3.4.1, glibc-2.3.4.20040619-r1, 2.6.8-gentoo-r4) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.8-gentoo-r4 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.59-r4 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.5-r1 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs ccache" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.osuosl.org http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X alsa amd64 apm avi berkdb bitmap-fonts cdr crypt dvd encode esd foomaticdb gdbm gif gnome gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 imlib jpeg libg++ libwww mikmod motif mozilla mpeg multilib ncurses nls nptl oggvorbis opengl oss pam pdflib perl png python quicktime readline sdl slang spell ssl tcpd truetype xml2 xmms xprint xv zlib"
