Virgil, if it is fine for you, please CC arches. I don't see issues running it.
I don't see any issue with LXD 2.21 as it is so I think it can be stabilized, but as a matter of fact, I'm not sure what is involved in CCing the arches. The last time I tried requesting stabilization, I was told that I did something wrong and that I didn't properly notify the arches. So what do I do, I add "amd64@gentoo.org" to the CC list of this ticket and that's it? I'll try that. In other requests, I see that a "stability-bot" flag is set, but I don't seem to be able to do that.
Oh, it looks like when people say "CCing the arches", it actually means that it says... TIL...

To be fine you need to CC arches and compile the "Package list" field that was compiled by me.
