I noticed that there is a new version of pcmcia-cs-3.2.8 out since July 2004.

Just a note, but is this package un-maintained?

I do not regularly use the pcmcia-cs-drivers.

Ah. plopped open my Linux Wireless book by O'Reilly and found that pcmcia-cs drivers was mainly meant for 2.4 kernels.

As of kernel-2.6, pcmcia drivers will be mainly developed within the kernel only.

This is good news... I just wish developers would let us know these little oddities with nice big lettering on their websites!
