vdpauinfo (identical for old and new)

Another 18.0.0_rc* problem. I have Radeon HD5450 and I'm using mpv with VDPAU hwdec. 17.* works neat and gives smooth playback, 18.0.0_rc[23] gives laggy playback like it's skipping every few frames.

I'm attaching vdpauinfo output. Diff says it's identical for 17 and 18.

I remember you had some other problem with the 18.0 RCs that was fixed. Is this one another symptom of the same issue? i.e., is it also already fixed?

Yeah, I'm running _rc5 now and while I haven't noticed any noticeable lags.
