This bug is the same of 49081, but it's related to 0.6.4 version.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =gstreamer-0.6.4
2. gst-register-0.6

Actual Results:  
If you use reiser4 gst-register-0.6 doesn't find any plugin.

Bad news.
r4 is questionable and maybe should not be used. These exact type of fixes are being rejected by more than half of our development team and we are considering dropping/or disabling those kernels which include support for it.

As a whole/majority gentoo has more or less decided that r4 bugs fall in the DONTCARE category.

this got fixed in gstreamer 0.8 , 0.6 is being phased out.
