I am re-emerging world after switching to the 17.0 profile; kdepim-runtime fails with a linking issue.

I had to gzip as the log is >1.8MB
Comment 2 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2018-01-16 10:48:01 UTC
It probably means you need to re-emerge kio. Don't ask me why though.
Comment 3 Jacopo 2018-01-16 15:51:18 UTC
I did already re-emerge kio to no avail…
Comment 4 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2018-01-20 02:53:21 UTC
Maybe the issue comes from akonadi; did you try rebuild that already?
Comment 5 Jacopo 2018-01-21 05:29:39 UTC
I rebuilt akonadi and still emerging fails at the same point with the same error.

I stumbled upon similar issues when I switched to 17.0 back in december.
Most of the time I was able to re-emerge the affected packages by previously emerging all of their dependencies by hand, because emerge can fail sometimes when determining the correct order for a world re-emerge. In the case of kdepim-runtime you can find them with:

# equery g =kde-apps/kdepim-runtime-17.12.1

You could try.
Comment 7 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2018-01-31 22:21:40 UTC
For lack of better ideas, if your issue still exists, please rebuild dependencies as advised above.
