from website: "...lmctl, a quick hack I wrote to control USB Logitech mice. It will obviously only work in the mouse's USB personality (not when it's connected to the PS/2 port with its adaptor). lmctl supports various vendor-specific commands, a good proportion of which isn't supported by my own mouse (an example is wireless status reporting). As such, it's provided as is, and it may not work on your mouse at all. " tested on athlon-xp ~arch box, compiles with gcc 3.4.x and earlier.
Created attachment 39786 [details] v1, sys-apps/lmctl/lmctl-0.3.1.ebuild tested working on ~x86, not sure about "sys-apps" placement. this is an application which addresses the vendor specific USB commands of logitech hardware mouse devices.
Created attachment 39787 [details] v2, sys-apps/lmctl/lmctl-0.3.1.ebuild whoops. don't install the lmctl(8) man page ; it doesn't exist! fixed.
I'll take this one then... I'm trying to get my MX700 working with this, and it nearly does (except from CruiseControl and CPI switch), if anyone has a MX700 and can help me with this, please contact me...
