New version, fixes alot of bug, including the irritating mouse-locking bug when clicking and dragging the cursor in the main window(only when using xine). Copying the 0.99.15.1 ebuild to 0.99.16 worked like a charm.
the bug you mention doesn't get fixed by this release & yeah we know about releases.
0.99.17 out.
0.99.17 should have the gstreamer deps bumped gstreamer 8.7 and gst-plugins 8.5 these packages contain numerous fixes which need totem 0.99.17 to function properly.
and we are waiting for g2.8
foser, 0.9.15.1 (current one in portage) is, at least for me, completely broken (segfaults). Why is the update not checked in? Would you mind if I takeover this bug and bump the ebuild?
by the way, has anyone tried the mozilla plugin ?
Created attachment 41551 [details, diff] patch for configure.in
Comment on attachment 41551 [details, diff] patch for configure.in you need this patch to compile totem, otherwise it bails out on the make process when using gstreamer
0.99.18 out
0.99.19 out
we know, but we first have to get the gst deps updated & that is not the highest prio right now.
then what is, maybe i can help?
i put an initial 0.99.19 ebuild in theres some things that need to be looked into : bug #68087 nvtv support (needs xine?) add extra gst only USE flags (how far should we take this?) look at gtk support (broken now) -> is it viable to support anyway ?
Sorry for spamming, just wanted to say that for .20, a simple ebuild cp is enough.
The ebuild required nautilus. According to the developer of totem... "nautilus-cd-burner is onlyneeded for its libnautilus-burn library which contains the CD selectionwidget." So nautilus along with gnome stuff should not be required to build totem.
