Description Cedric Sodhi 2018-01-04 18:45:15 UTC
I don't have any good explanation for this, just the approximate steps that led to this situation:

1) Install zathura-pdf-poppler and its dependencies (zathura, girara) locally from source to prefix "$HOME/local"
2) [Delete related in files "$HOME/local/"{lib,bin}, forget some and all pkgconfig files]
3) `su`, forget the trailing " -"
4) Emerge zathura-pdf-poppler

What you see in the attached dump of the tmux history is how at first

a) Zathura fails to build, trying to link against old stuff from /home (I guess, that might be expected, since I forgot the trailing " -" and PKG_CONFIG_PATH was not purge)
b) Second attempt (I think I deleted the rogue girara libs from "$HOME/lib"), build succeeds, but `equery files zathura-pdf-poppler` shows portage installed things to "$HOME"
