PARI/GP is a widely used computer algebra system designed for fast computations in number theory.
Homepage: http://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/

There is already a pari package (2.1.5) but:
This package builds it from cvs (~2.2.8) (so it works with gcc 3.4, and other new stuff)
Ebuild depends on virtual/tetex when doc is set in USE flags
I suggest app-sci/pari-cvs

We've got a fairly recent version of pari in the tree so
I presume this bug can be closed as fixed!? Please re-open should
I be wrong.
