Description Dainius Masiliūnas 2017-12-26 09:53:07 UTC
When libpcre is installed with the jit USE flag (default), on the x32 ABI the pcregrep utility crashes with SIGBUS when trying to emerge a number of packages that use it. Two examples I've seen so far are kde-frameworks/syntax-highlighting and kde-frameworks/kio (this one is required by a lot of other packages, some of those might also show the same issue).

I haven't seen this problem before as I could emerge the packages fine back during the summer, so this may be a regression in the jit code (or perhaps it got enabled by default recently?).

I'll attach an example build log.
