I maintain an /opt/python3 from source, built with zc-buildout. This has worked fine through python-3.6.3, but with today's python-3.6.4, I was presented with a pkgutils requirement for zc.buildout newer than 2.9.3 I think it was. Attached is dev-python/zc-buildout-2.10.0.ebuild. There is only one difference from latest in portage dev-python/zc-buildout-2.5.3-r1.ebuild. This ebuild once installed allows zc.buildout to complete my python-3.6.4 build.
Created attachment 511050 [details] zc-buildout-2.10.0.ebuild Only one difference from zc-buildout-2.5.3-r1.ebuild: DOCS docs/tutorial.rst is no longer present in upstream tarball. Removed from DOCS, works.
Thanks Jeff, could you please attach the patch too? It's easier to check the changes.
