Description Tom Conneely 2004-09-15 09:37:08 UTC
After installing xf4vnc I wasn't able to authenticate incoming vnc connections; as in order to generate a connection password, need to use command vncpasswd (which isn't included in xf4vnc-4.3.0.104 package) this generates an encrypted password file.

Solved by merging TightVNC then remerging xf4vnc.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. merge xf4vnc
2. configure to use rfbauth in xorg.conf file
3. connect from remote machine with vncviewer

Actual Results:
Can connect to server, but upon entering password told "VNC authentication solved"

Expected Results:
Connected to server and shown X display

TightVNC maybe listed as dependency though technically not, or vncpasswd should
be included with xf4vnc package.
