I've updated to Qt 5.10.0 today - from Qt 5.9.3.

This breaks the file dialog integration support in Libreoffice 6.0.9999.

I'm now back at either the butt-ugly/useless Gtk3 file dialog or Gtk2 file dialog for Libreoffice.

Previously Qt5 / Plasma integration support was working fine with Qt 5.9.3.

I've attached the build log with some obvious configure warnings about the Qt5 file dialog being disabled at runtime...

Please ignore the fact the package is from my local Overlay. That's just so I can allow libreoffice-l10 6.0.9999 past the "Gates of Hades". I need my English (GB) locale fix... There are no other changes to the "official" Gentoo ebuild.

With libreoffice[qt5], please only submit bugs with patches. Otherwise there is not much point right now.
Comment 2 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2017-12-13 22:41:22 UTC
So, closing this based on:

- Qt-5.10.0 not in tree
- Qt5 support not nearly ready in LO

Please work with upstream on such bugs.
Comment 3 Bob Wya 2018-02-01 12:37:19 UTC
The KDE file dialog is re-enabled for the =app-emulation/libreoffice-6.0.0.3 ebuild, with the --gtk3-kde5 (kde USE flag) option.

Another triumph by the Gentoo KDE team and Upstream! Thanks :-)
