when upgrading the ut2004 binaries the ebuild requires a copy of all the data off the game disks. i have the dvd version so its not as much of a pain, but there is still the task of copying/emerging gigs worth of duplicated data. as far as i'm aware the updates in version only affect the binaries. is there any way the ebuild can check for an already installed version and not require all the extra time and effort?
