===================================================================

May be a portage error, as if I just try to update six by itself, I get a slot conflict:

===================================================================
!!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled
!!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict:

dev-python/six:0
===================================================================

I should also mention I'm currently upgrading from python-3.4 to 3.5.

I'm just going to -doc six, so at a personal level, a fix is not that important to me. Just figured I'd mention it since I saw it.
Comment 1 Étienne Buira 2017-12-18 17:14:49 UTC
The same happens here

I would bet it's an eclass issue, because the issue happens when compiling for 3.5, but looks for libs in 3.4's directory
Comment 2 Étienne Buira 2017-12-18 17:57:09 UTC
Please disregard what i wrote previously, issue is with sphinx.
A workaround is to USE="-doc" for six.
Didn't try to restore USE="doc" after upgrading sphinx

Old version removed. Please reopen if it still happens.
