Description David Ripton 2004-09-13 10:59:19 UTC
dev-java/jdepend-2.8-r1 needs jdepend-2.8.zip

files/digest-jdepend-2.8-r1 says:
MD5 b714e71096d6206b75aa2bc612894e3f jdepend-2.8.zip 386130

This matches what's currently on the primary source, http://www.clarkware.com/software/jdepend-2.8.zip

However, there was a previous different version of jdepend-2.8.zip from the jdepend-2.8 ebuild. So if you already had jdepend-2.8 installed, the file will probably be in distfiles (or a local distfiles cache), and the md5sum will not match, aborting the emerge.

Looks like the file was changed (upstream) without changing the filename. Out of Gentoo's control, but annoying.

Workaround: Remove the file from /usr/local/distfiles (and any local distfiles caches), then re-emerge, and it'll work.

I don't think there's a real fix for this (except to ask the author to not change files without bumping the version in the filename :-> ) ; I'm just entering the bug to document the workaround.
