Created attachment 506888 [details] build.log I'm trying to update my system and, while updating haskell-compiler, the compilation fails with the following error: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc: error: unrecognized command line option ‘-nopie’; did you mean ‘-no-pie’? I attach my build.log Here's my emerge --info: Portage 2.3.16 (python 2.7.14-final-0, hardened/linux/amd64/no-multilib, gcc-7.2.0, glibc-2.26-r3, 4.12.12-gentoo x86_64) Which version of GHC are you using? You may have to rebuild GHC (dev-lang/ghc) to to fix this.. it looks like bug 593892 to me.
(In reply to Michael Orlitzky from comment #1) > Which version of GHC are you using? You may have to rebuild GHC > (dev-lang/ghc) to to fix this.. it looks like bug 593892 to me. GHC 8.0.2. Recompiling it solved the problem! Thank you very much
