Description Arnvid L. Karstad 2004-09-12 23:23:58 UTC
When u leave a comment on a bug. After commiting the comment bugzilla web jumps to the last/nest bug on the list. Which is kinda annoying when u want to leave more info on the bug u are currently on. Maybe make this behaviour optional, and selectable in ones prefrences?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Ditto

This is by design on every bugzilla installatio as by as I know.
What other information can't you leave on the initial page?

You miss the point...

When you forget to put something in the bug, and remember after you've submitted
it, it's far too easy (not to mention intuative), to mistake the bug being
displayed as the bug you just entered. So you go ahead and make a change/add to
the bug on display, hit submit then realise it's not your bug.

Bugzilla didn't do this until shortly before this bug report. It's thoroughly
annoying/inconvenient for me and others, so we're asking for a change back to
the original behaviour. Thanks.

as of 09/2004, i am unaware of any major changes to our bugzilla. i have been
our sole admin for the past 3-4 months and have made no such changes. the
upcoming release of bugzilla 2.20 will cause me to check this behavior over again

This is definitely upstream, and would require hacking the CGI. I am going to ask upstream, but this is definitely a very invasive hack.
