I use xorg-6.8 + fluxbox 0.9.10. I noticed today that if I select the Gentoo theme in fluxbox, that any time I am on the "fluxbox menu" part of the menus, if the menu pointer passes the themes submenu, the menu automatically opens, becomes nearly the siz o fmy screen and will not close. The only way to close it is to either kill X or restart fluxbox from the fluxbox menu. No other themes seem to have this problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.select Gentoo as the fluxbox style (theme) 2.right click to open the fluxbox menu and go to "fluxbox menu" 3.let the cursor pass by the word "System Styles" on fluxbox menu (no clicking neccessary, it just opens) Actual Results: System Style menu opens without me wanting to select it. System Style menu becomes almost the size of the screen and will not close. Even finding a spot where I can open the fluxbox menu again on the screen, the style menu will not close. Expected Results: menu should not habe opened, and certainly should close I've only had fluxbox for less than a week and only had xorg-6.8 for a couple days. Never had this problem before today that I noticed.
Are you using xcomposite? If so, does fluxbox-0.9.10-r3 fix it?
due to the way the system styles is gone and replased by smaller styles, this should definatly be fixed in -r3, atleast for me The problem (atleast as i can tell by the description) is not having to do with xcompmgr and xorg-6.8, but more that the System Styles is so huge its impossible do anything when it accedently shows up
I'm guessing that this is fixed by the split styles menu. If it still causes problems, please take the bug upstream.
