Description Robert Moss (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-12 07:39:48 UTC
expat-1.95.7{,-r1} does not compile with the soon-to-be-released gcc-4.0.0. expat-1.95.8 contains numerous fixes which allow compilation and fix various annoying bugs, mainly relating to things deprecated in gcc-3.4.x which now generate errors in gcc-4.x.

Note also that the "mandir" variable has been changed to "man1dir" in the Makefile.

Oops, missed the assignment field (again) - sorry...

Thank you Rob. Trying to commit this but I'm currently hung up on some keywording issues that I'm working to resolve.

No problem... any keywording issues in particular?
Comment 4 Doug Goldstein (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-22 14:09:44 UTC
well ppc-macos marked previous revs as stable without marking any depends as stable. ppc64 marked previous revs as ~ without depends being ~. So repoman fails. Working with them now.

Ah. Right. Good luck then... :-S
