Description Tobias Bell 2004-09-12 06:04:05 UTC
After emerging of bbweather-0.6 and creating weather-data with
/usr/bin/GrabWeather EDDL
, I tried to start bweather with the command
bbweather EDDL
, which lead to the following error message

Could not open default style file bbweather.styleFile: in /usr/share/bbtools/bbweather.nobb
Using internal defaults.
X Error of failed request: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
Major opcode of failed request: 88 (X_FreeColors)
Serial number of failed request: 21
Current serial number in output stream: 22

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge bbweather (as root)
2. /usr/bin/GrabWeather EDDL
3. bbweather EDDL

Actual Results:
Could not open default style file bbweather.styleFile: in
/usr/share/bbtools/bbweather.nobb
Using internal defaults.
X Error of failed request: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
Major opcode of failed request: 88 (X_FreeColors)
Serial number of failed request: 21
Current serial number in output stream: 22

Expected Results:
It should start and show me weather-data!

I use xorg and fluxbox.

Comment 1 Aaron Walker (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-18 06:26:45 UTC
I get the "Could not open default style file.." error but cannot reproduce the X error. I've just bumped 0.6.2. Can you see if you still have this problem?

User response needed. See comment #1.
