Description dieter ferdinand 2017-11-16 12:07:27 UTC
hello,
to compile autofs-5.0.7 one file must be patched:
daemon/spawn.c

at line 38 the following must be inserted:
void dump_core(void);

this is nessesary to export the function and link the program.

5.1.2 is stable. What do you particularly need 5.0.7 for? AFAICT it's ready to be removed from the tree.

please re-open if you still see this problem
Comment 3 dieter ferdinand 2018-01-30 20:14:42 UTC
hello,
i use automount 5.0.7 because i have problems with all newer versions!!!

i don't remember with which mounts i have problems, it can be local or cifs mounts, but after some hours, something hangs and this old version works fine.

to reativate my automounts, i must restart newer version of automount more then one time a day.

Does this still occur with 5.1.5-r1?
