Description Melendro 2017-11-13 17:41:33 UTC
After upgrading to sys-apps/util-linux-2.30.2 the command "pg" has disappeared.
The only pg-related file installed is /usr/share/doc/util-linux-2.30.2/pg.txt.bz2 but the executable and man page are not installed anymore.
Comment 2 Melendro 2017-11-19 11:39:02 UTC
What about a use flag to enable pg?
It is there, just not building it by default.
Comment 3 Thomas Deutschmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2017-11-19 15:20:59 UTC
Sorry, unless anyone can tell us a reason why "pg" is still useful and less/more is no complete replacement we will stick with upstream decision and don't provide pg binary anymore.
