Comment 2 James Johnson 2004-09-15 10:19:57 UTC
Upgrading ExtUtils-MakeMaker from 6.20 to 6.21 fixed the missing object: dir_target for me.
Comment 3 Michael Cummings (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-21 06:06:57 UTC
Upgrading to a perl past 5.8.0 might have helped also. Afraid there isn't much we can do for this kind of situation anymore- we don't have the resources to support perl versions that are over 2 stable releases old. Sorry :/ (glad the makemaker update fixed it though - that's the only reason makemaker is even in the tree)
Comment 4 Snuffels 2004-09-25 04:28:20 UTC
perl-5.8.4-r1 installed here and the same problem occurs... so it does not seem to be related to perl-5.8.0.
Comment 5 gentoo 2004-12-30 12:04:03 UTC
I have perl-5.8.5-r2 installed and the build of Tk-TableMatrix-1.1 fails for me too:
