Description Matija "hook" Šuklje 2004-09-11 01:03:38 UTC
Workman is a small cd player with the normal features you'd expect of it.
But the best thing is that it comes bundled with Workbone - a great (and in my eyes the best) console cd player.

I'd love to see this old classic in portage. In my eyes it still beats most newer small(ish) cd players.

p.s. maybe the homepage isn't the original one, but i doubt there still exists the original page

Here is an ebuild for it. If you use gcc 3.4 do not blame this pkg but xview.

thank you :D ...I owe you a nice beer (or tea/coffee/...).

btw: just curious: what should be wrong with the xview?

oh, and the homepage in the ebuild does not exists.

It was the homepage of that package :)

the license where not specific enough. it must
be either GPL-1 or GPL-2, but not GPL alone.
I removed trailing spaces (that are not luckily
seen in ebuilds)

As of the (official) homepage, well, this really
confused me, I didn't find the official one, but lots
of other stuff related to this package, however,
I changed the ${HOMEPAGE} in .ebuild to the main
homepage of the author.

However, you ebuild didn't honor the CFLAGS defined in
/etc/make.conf. Fixed this, too.
