The URL http://gentoo.osuosl.org/distfiles/tidy_docs.tgz has an md5sum inconsistent with that of the htmltidy ebuild:

However, fetching from http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo/distfiles/tidy_docs.tgz does work.

There's clearly a problem with the first download mirror.

Had the same problem, but  http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo/distfiles/tidy_docs.tgz also did not work for me. Fetched the original from sourceforge and that one was ok.
