Description Thomas Capricelli 2017-10-16 12:16:24 UTC
Hi,

I'm trying to create an audio CD from k3b. When i drag&drop wav files from dolphin, i got an error dialog with :

Unable to handle the following files due to an unsupported format:
You may manually convert these audio files to wave using another application supporting the audio format and then add the wave files to the K3b project.
/home/orzel/Downloads/cd-mc/1_Alladin PREDEF.wav

Just to be sure, I've tried a lot of *.wav files from different sources, and the error is always the same. All of those *.wav play well in any reader i could find.

This error is supposed to be when k3b can't transcode the input files to *.wav. But they are already in wav format.

I've double-checked use flags but can't see anything obvious:
Installed versions: 17.08.2(5)(00:41:54 16/10/2017)(dvd encode ffmpeg flac mad mp3 sndfile sox taglib vcd vorbis webkit -debug -emovix -handbook -libav -musepack -test)

I tried googling, but all pages mentionning this error are about people trying to put mp3 or other non-wav formats.

I've tried re-searching for local applictions from within the settings, but it doesn't fix the problem. (if finds everything well)

I can't reproduce that error. Can you try again with 17.08.3?
